Kid Rock: Live at Graceland premiered Friday on PBS and Hulu Plus nationwide. It’s the third episode I edited for Live from the Artist Den. This was a 15-song set, eight camera show directed by JoJo Pennebaker cut on FCP 7 in multicamera mode. It features Kid Rock and the Twisted Brown Trucker Band performing their hits and tracks from the new album Born Free in front of a private audience in Elvis’s automobile museum.

There are few special packages included, like an acoustic jam inside the Jungle Room where Elvis himself recorded several albums. This was a really fun concert to cut because, like Elvis, Kid Rock crosses many genres including Rock, Funk, Country, Hip Hop and Rap.

The full episode is available online free at Hulu Plus. A full list of nationwide air dates here. For a behind-the-scenes interview with executive producer Mark Lieberman and Director of Programming, Alan Light click Inside Thirteen. For more on Kid Rock check out his site. Here are a few teaser clips….
